Just one more day to go!!
I have updated the website with the party pics. The parties were the best ever this year and thanks to everyone for making such a good atmosphere and thanks to Cath for providing a big liver cake for all the dogs. Keith Davis came to judge the parties who does our good citizen scheme tests for us. As Keith scored all the dogs for the obedience I have included a link to the scores on the parties pages.
Dog of the year was Nathan's Hugo and Puppy of the Year was Paul and Gemma's Rosie, well done to you all and a special well done to Mathew and Teal who scored full marks in the Obedience.
Just as a reminder the club reopens on Monday the 5th January 2009

Dinky began aborting her puppies in the early hours of Sunday morning 10 days too early, due to a firework display down the road. As the last thing to develop is the lungs we were unable to save any of the puppies 11 in total. We managed to keep one going for 7 hours. 3 puppies got stuck and Dinky had to be operated on and was speyed to save her life. She is back home and doing really well. We are just glad Dinky is going to be ok!

Monday 7th March 2005
The Club has been up and running now since January 2005. We have plenty of dogs and puppies in our classes and they are all coming on great. We have done 3 dog walks which are becoming popular as the weather gets better.
The club has a great environment, Barbara keeps everyone fed and watered with Tea, Coffee and Biscuits!! We play games and competitions. Although they are all far to good at the doggy version of 'Simon Says'. The tricks and heelwork to music moves seem to go down well in the classes.
Dawn is being kept busy helping the newbies.
We have started classes in Prestwich but the facilities are quite small and we are currently looking for a more suitable venue.
Dawn and myself attended a Tellington Touch workshop this weekend and will be incorporating the 'groundwork' exercises into the classes. We are saving up for Agility and Flyball equipment and will be planning an Agilty/Training Camping Weekend and a Fun Dog Show. We will also be holding some canine workshops/seminars later on in the year.
Its Crufts next weekend and we will be shopping for Club equipment. The weekend after Dawn is taking her ADTB Bronze instructor course.
